Jiren Meme

Jiren Dancing is a still from a fan animation of two Dragon Ball rivals standing chest to chest. On the left is Goku with spiky silver hair, a torn orange gi and a glowing blue aura; on the right is Jiren, huge and muscular, wrapped in a pink and red glow, looking down at him. Goku has a hand resting on Jiren's chest as if they are about to sway together. This template gives you a caption box at the top and another at the bottom, and a GIF version shows the slow dance itself.

What does the Jiren meme mean?

The Jiren meme turns a serious rivalry into something awkwardly tender. Two fighters who should be trading blows are instead dancing close, which makes the image a fit for rivals who secretly get along, friends who are a little too in sync, or any pair that is weirdly close for no reason. The Jiren dance also became a trend of its own: people copy the moves in their own videos or slip the dancing Jiren into unexpected places, from crowded trains to calculator screens. Because the song used in the edits is about longing and jealousy, many posts lean on that mood too.

Where is the Jiren meme from?

Know Your Meme credits the animation to TikTok user @dblgiuzman, who makes clips of Dragon Ball characters dancing. On September 1, 2026, they posted an animation of Jiren dancing with Goku that passed 1.2 million views within a month, followed by another Jiren dance the next day. On September 17, @skobodo_tolot posted one of the earliest edits pairing the animations with "it's like i'm not even here" by Mthu. The trend grew in October 2026: on October 20, @adamlostagain posted a video of themselves dancing like Jiren that passed 1.6 million views in six days, and on October 24 a clip of Jiren dancing on a calculator screen passed 2.1 million views in two days.
