Copyright and takedown requests
If an image on Capypix belongs to you and you don't want it here, tell us and we will remove it.
What we host
Capypix's tools run in your browser, and the images people edit or create with them are never uploaded to us. The only images we host are the templates in the meme generator. Most are public-domain or CC0 works; some are well-known meme formats owned by third parties, offered for commentary and parody. The source of every template is listed on the template credits page.
How to request removal
Email support@capypix.com with:
- the template's name or its link (for example
capypix.com/?t=…); - who owns the image and how you are connected to it (owner, or authorised to act for the owner);
- a way to contact you.
We aim to remove the template within two business days of a clear request, and we will reply to tell you when it is done. We don't need a formal legal notice to act, but if you send one under the US DMCA or a similar law, we will handle it the same way.
Memes made by visitors
We don't store or publish memes that visitors make — they are created on the visitor's device and shared by the visitor. If someone has shared a meme that uses your image elsewhere, please contact the site where it was posted.
