What does the Ain't Nobody Got Time for That meme mean?

The meme is a blunt way to wave something off. Whatever goes in the caption is treated as too long, too annoying or too pointless to bother with: a forty-minute onboarding video, a recipe with a life story before the ingredients, a software update at the worst moment. The face sells it because she isn't calm or sarcastic; she looks genuinely fed up. Most versions either write the full phrase as the caption or put the annoying situation on top and let the catchphrase land as the reply. It's used for small daily refusals, not serious ones, and the tone is more exasperated than mean.

Where is the Ain't Nobody Got Time for That meme from?

The clip comes from a KFOR News Channel 4 report on a three-alarm apartment fire in Oklahoma City on April 7, 2012. Resident Kimberly Wilkins, who became known as Sweet Brown, told the reporter she'd gone to get a cold pop, realized the building was on fire and ran out without her shoes, adding that "ain't nobody got time for that." KFOR's Ted Malave posted the interview to YouTube that day, and a re-upload by lucasmarr on April 9 passed one million views within 48 hours. Tosh.0 reposted it on April 10 and news and culture sites covered it the same week. In 2013 Wilkins filed a federal copyright lawsuit over "I Got Bronchitis," a remix of her interview audio that had been sold on iTunes.
