Merge PDF Files
Combine two or more PDFs into a single document, in exactly the order you want. Free, no watermark — and the files never leave your device.
Add at least two PDFs to merge
🔒 Your PDFs are merged on your own device. They are never uploaded to any server.
How to merge PDF files
- Drop your PDF files into the box above, or tap Choose PDF files. Each file shows its page count.
- Put the files in order with ↑ and ↓; tap × to remove one.
- Tap Merge PDF. The combined PDF downloads straight away.
Private PDF merging
Contracts, bank statements, tax forms and medical records are exactly the kind of files you should not upload to a stranger’s server. Here the PDFs are merged by your own browser, so nothing is sent anywhere — it even works offline once the page has loaded.
What is kept
Every page is copied exactly as it is: text stays selectable and searchable, images keep their quality, and page sizes and orientation are unchanged. Bookmarks and form fields from the original files are not carried over.
Password-protected PDFs cannot be merged; remove the password in the program that created the file first.
Frequently asked questions
How do I combine multiple PDF files into one?
Add all the PDFs, arrange them with the arrow buttons, then tap “Merge PDF”. The pages of each file follow one another in that order.
Is there a limit on file size or number of files?
There is no fixed limit and no sign-up. Very large files depend on your device’s memory; typical documents of a few hundred pages are fine.
Will the merged PDF have a watermark?
No. The result contains only your pages.
Are my PDFs uploaded?
No. Merging happens entirely in your browser on your own device.
Can I merge PDFs on my phone?
Yes. Open this page in Safari or Chrome, choose the PDFs from Files, and the merged PDF is saved to your downloads.
